1. Purpose
The purpose of this policy is to inform all stakeholders with whom Vidimsoft may interact during its business and other who may use their products on how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information. Vidimsoft deals with stakeholders such as physicians, laboratory professionals, lab administrators, potential employees, employees of customers, customers, suppliers, and other health care professionals. Personal information about an identifiable individual, including name, address, and other contact information, health information and/or information an individual may provide us through product inquiries or comments. The policy does not apply to personal information about our employees or to information that is not personal information (Ref: Employee Privacy Policy PL001).

2. Information Vidimsoft will collect
Vidimsoft, its agents, and representatives collect personal information such as: Personal and business contact information, such as name, title, address, telephone number; Professional information about the physicians, biologists, and other health professionals and employees (for instance title, qualifications, area of practice or specialization, their use of our products, and related information relevant to maintaining and managing our relationship with health providers and administrators and understanding their professional or administrative roles within their organization; Contact and other personal information that Vidimsoft may collect is material to our relationship with (potential) customers, information collected during sales meetings is specific to customer contacts and would include such information as name, title, contact numbers and addresses, as such is public in nature and specific to business needs; Information provided by potential employment candidates, including resumes and related information provided about employment possibilities with Vidimsoft; Names and other contact details of patients whose data is processed via Vidimsoft products are not collected by Vidimsoft. In some cases, patient data, medical history, or medical indications are provided to Vidimsoft for purpose of product complaint or other processes where Vidimsoft is providing assistance with respect to our products. Information from individuals visiting our premises such as their name and the name of the organization for which they work or represent. We may also post video cameras in public access areas on our premises.

3. Use of Personal Information
We collect and use personal information for a few purposes, including:
· Establishing and maintaining our relationship with health professionals and administrators
  and other individuals with whom we have contact during our business;
· Providing assistance and advice to health professionals and institutions with respect
  to our products;
· Developing and evaluating our products, including conducting or facilitating testing;
· Receiving and assessing product inquiries and complaints;
· Assisting in or coordinating product recalls;
· Evaluating resumes or other information submitted to us about employment
  possibilities and, where a position is not offered or accepted, retaining
  such information for a reasonable period in the event of future openings
  or if the individual re-apply;
· Managing and administering our business;
· meeting legal, regulatory, security, ethical and processing requirements.

While using your personal information, Vidimsoft may transfer personal information to outside agents or service providers that perform services on our behalf, for instance vendors, IT service and records storage providers, in which case we use contractual or other means to require such agents or service providers to protect your personal information and not use or disclose it for any purpose other than as directed by Vidimsoft.

We may use personal information for other purposes that will be described to you at the time of collection, or as otherwise permitted or required by law.

4. Disclosure of Personal Information
We may disclose personal information when required in order to meet legal, security or ethical requirements, including to health professional regulatory authorities, hospitals or other health facilities. During clinical trials of our products or investigating product complaints, evaluations or recalls, we may disclose personal information, including health information, to the hospitals or other medical research facilities involved in the relevant trial or investigation. In most cases involving personal health information, we will obtain more detailed consent from all patients involved.
Your personal information may be used by Vidimsoft and disclosed to parties connected with the contemplated or actual financing, insuring, sale, assignment or other disposal of all or part of Vidimsoft business or assets, including for the purposes of permitting such parties to determine whether to proceed or continue with such transaction or business relationship, to fulfil reporting or audit requirements or the use and disclosure by those parties for substantially the same purposes as described in this policy.
Vidimsoft does not disclose your personal information other than as described in this policy or otherwise with your consent, unless permitted or required by law.
